About
Have you met the madame?
Who is Madame Daley?
What if Marc Bolan was bred in Brooklyn and raised in the American South with a voice that’s been compared to the likes of Pat Benetar and Adele? That person might look a little something like Madame Daley. As the self-proclaimed ringleader of the rock n roll circus, she’s the vintage old hollywood, glam rock, disco ball, feathers and jewels matriarch. She is the one and only Madame Daley.
Performing alongside her Starchild Band, expect soaring vocals, electric energy, and a bold, glittering production style inspired by the divas of yore.
The girlies are talking, hear what they have to say…
““Building a musical space where authenticity and flair emerge is Madame Daley. Her latest single, “Pin-Up Boy,” channels equal parts swagger and substance, draped in vintage glamour with a modern bite....a sound space where Madame Daley’s ability to blend theatricality with sincerity is in focus.””
“
“What do you get when you mix a theatrical show-tune approach to music, with the gut and heart of a voice like Duffy or Pat Benatar? You get Madame Daley, the intersection of glam, rock, and feminist empowerment.””
The gal behind the curtain
With some New York grit and honky tonk charm, “The Madame” is a drag-inspired stage persona created by Madison Daley, an instrumentalist and vocalist from the Sunshine State. The alter ego, Madame Daley, exists at the intersection of Madison’s love for glamorous retro fashion, her affinity for theatrical 20th-century rock icons, as well as her Brooklyn origins and Southern upbringing. Sonically, Madame Daley blends glam rock, vintage pop, and soulful rock balladry with a country flair.
Working with Plaid Dog Recording in Boston, Daley crowdfunded her debut single "Annie, Sing Your Heart Out Anyway" in early 2020 and the remainder of the EP “Classic” in the fall of 2021. She joined forces with four NYC based musicians to form the Starchild Band. Madame Daley and the Starchild Band take great pride in being an all woman and lgbqt+ group. Playing their first show in May 2022, Madame Daley and the Starchild band have become known for bringing a little bit of glam and a whole lotta feminine energy to the stages of NYC.
