ABOUT THE MADAME

What if Marc Bolan was bred in Brooklyn and raised in the American South with a voice that’s been compared to the likes of Pat Benatar and Adele? That person might look a little something like Madame Daley. As the self-proclaimed ringleader of the rock n roll circus, she’s the vintage, retro, and disco-ball-wielding feathers-and-jewels matriarch. She is the one and only Madame Daley.

With some New York grit and honky tonk charm, “The Madame” is a drag-inspired stage persona created by Madison Daley, an instrumentalist and vocalist from the Sunshine State. The alter ego, Madame Daley, exists at the intersection of Madison’s love for glamorous retro fashion, her affinity for theatrical 20th-century rock icons, as well as her Brooklyn origins and Southern upbringing.

Sonically, the “Madame” blends glam rock, vintage pop, and soulful rock balladry with a country flair. Performing alongside her Starchild Band, expect soaring vocals, electric energy, and a bold, glittering production style inspired by the divas of yore.

About The Starchild Band

Madame Daley’s Starchild Band is a collective of all queer and mostly female musicians! First playing together in 2022, Madame Daley and the Starchild Band have held many long standing residences in Manhattan. Whether they’re playing covers show together or backing the Madame on her originals, these Starchildren are known to deliver energetic show stopping performances all across the city.
